The Centre has two main halls for hire and is ideal for weekly classes, meetings, small conferences and trainings, private social events/parties etc.
The main hall has a capacity 75 persons( seated) has a wooden floor and measures 10.7m x 9.5m and is 3.5m high. There are 20 staking wooden tables (1.8m x 80cms) and 75 chairs. In addition there are 5 nursery size tables (1.2m x 60cms) with 24 appropriately sized chairs for use at children’s parties and events.
There is also a smaller carpeted hall (capacity 26 persons seated) which measures 12m x 4.5m and is 3m high, this is ideal for meetings and small gatherings. Wi-fi is available in this hall – password available on request.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, large catering hob and oven, automatic fill water boiler, microwave, hot cupboard, glass washer, dishwasher, large double sink and plenty of work surfaces. There are serving hatches from the kitchen to both halls.
Heating and utilities are included in the hire charge, as is use of all kitchen appliances, but please be advised that hirers/caterers need to supply their own crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchen utensils.
The premises does not have a license for the sale of alcohol, however, alcohol can be served to guests at private functions.
The hall can be decorated by the hirer for their own private function but it is requested that NO sellotape, bluetack or drawing pins be used in the plasterwork. There are metal girder divisions between the windows where decorations can be fixed.
NO smoke machines are allowed with disco equipment as this activates the smoke alarms and alerts the fire service.
The premises is fully disabled compliant and has a baby changing facility.
The premises are 20 years old and are maintained to a high standard.
